Job description

Position Summary: The Business Relationship Officer of Treasury Management is responsible for the development of new treasury management business, expansion of existing business relationships and servicing customers. Promotes all UBT products and services, prepares sales presentations, and assists in the design and installation of treasury management services.
This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop new Treasury Management business by identifying and contacting prospects, while expanding existing customer relationships through increased product penetration, proactive account servicing, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products and services, including demonstrating capabilities and using bank software to develop customized product and pricing packages.
  • Promote Treasury & Payments solutions and Short-Term Federal Investment Trust accounts through customer presentations, employee education, and tailored recommendations that highlight product value.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, special mailings, documentation, and promotional content to support sales and product growth initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with Commercial Lenders and internal teams to support product portfolio expansion, develop new or enhanced services, establish sales objectives, and contribute to department planning and project execution.
  • Participate in committee meetings, training programs, conferences, and community events to represent the bank, stay informed on industry trends, and promote Treasury & Payments solutions.
  • Uphold the bank's management philosophy, service culture, and commitment to exceptional customer experience.
  • Stay informed on competitor offerings and industry developments to ensure the bank maintains competitive and advantageous Treasury Management products.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, underwriting requirements, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Executive Management or Division Manager as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Candidate may also possess applicable banking experience related to the position.
  • Treasury Management experience minimum of 1 year- Officer level.
    • Minimum of 3 years- AVP level.
    • Minimum of 5 years- VP level.
  • General bank experience minimum 1 year.
    • 1-3 years- AVP level
    • 2-5 years-VP level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and in working with other financial software.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license.
