Medical Technologist - 2nd and 3rd shifts Available

A non-profit organization that specializes in blood donation for hospitals is seeking a couple Medical Technologists to join their growing team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a team that offers reimbursement for professional licenses, educational assistance, student loan repayment program and so much more. 2nd and 3 rd shifts available!

Schedules Available:

  • 2nd: 4p-12:30a, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays

  • 2nd: 3p-11:30p, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays

  • 3 rd shift: 11p-7a, 5 days a week to include rotating weekends and holidays

  • Weekend: 11a-9p Friday-Monday

Location : Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Pay: DOE

  • 1 year: $30.80/hr

  • 2-5.4years: $35.25/hr

  • 5.5-9 years: $38.75/hr

  • 9+ years: $42/hr

Weekend role shift differential:

+$3.50/hr for hours worked Monday and Friday

+$8/hr for weekends

3rd shift position shift differential:

+$7.50/hr weeknights

+$12/hr hr weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Accept, verify, and process incoming blood samples

  • Performs various testing procedures on donor and patient specimens

  • Keep documentation

  • Performs essential functions of the lab technician and lab assistant as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science

  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist

  • Valid and current Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in Immunohematology or Blood Banking
