Job description

This position is responsible for performing all teller functions accurately and with the highest level of quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing account transactions
  • Cashing checks
  • Issuing money orders and cashier's checks
  • Cross-selling other bank products
  • Maintaining account records
  • Encoding items for processing
  • Daily balancing and safeguarding of cash drawer
  • Attendance is essential function of the job

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior experience is preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills including attentiveness and information retention
  • Strong ability to work with others in a manner exhibiting tact and diplomacy
  • Emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
