Job Title Investment Manager, Latin America Private Bank

Corporate Title Associate - AVP

Location Miami, FL

Overview

As an Investment Manager (IM), Latin American within the Private Bank you will collaborate with fellow investment specialists to provide tailored and strategic solutions to the Bank's UHNW and family office clients and prospects in line with their objectives and needs. You will partner with the Relationship Managers and work closely with the Investment Management Heads to deliver the bank's investment platform. Primary focus will be on the generation, dissemination and implementation/execution of investment transactions. Given the advisory nature of the role, the IM will ensure that the advice provided is in 'good faith' and always in the best interests of the client, in adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Emphasis in developing Brazilian book of business, alongside other submarkets and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing clients
  • Identifying and managing interactions with an assigned group of existing clients from a select submarket
  • Arranging and leading client calls and meetings to deliver market views and suitable solutions to our clients
  • Collaborating on research, due diligence, and preparation of client ready material
  • Ownership and accountability for lifecycle of a client's investment, whether in alternative or discretionary solutions, as well as publicly traded market transactions. Providing point of contact for any investment related issues requiring escalation
  • Collaborating with Operations, Middle Office, Supervisory and Compliance to ensure best-in-class services delivered fall in line with internal and industry regulations

Skills You'll Need.

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • Bachelor's Degree required; CFA, MBA degree or other advanced degree encouraged
  • Preferred experience in sales and trading, portfolio construction and asset allocation, with an understanding of UHNW and family office investor dynamics
  • Experience managing and/or advising on multi-asset class portfolios for clients across traditional and alternative assets
  • Fluent in delivering a capital market outlook from both an investment strategist's view (i.e., top down) and a manager's view (i.e., bottom up) and articulating why solutions are appropriate for a given investment objective and market environment
