A major International bank in Midtown Manhattan is seeking to fill an AVP level position withinย  M&A group

Fluency in Mandarin is required due to the nature of the Position/Client

CANDIDATES LOCAL TO THE NY/NJ METRO AREA ONLY. NO RE-LOCATION

Description:

  • The incumbent will be responsible for originating, managing and collecting a portfolio of 3 types of loans, with a focus on M&A financing. Other loans can include syndicated loans, project finance, aircraft financing.
  • The AVP will be responsible for marketing the bank to solicit customers, writing credit reviews, negotiating loan agreements, authorizing the loan, monitoring risk in the portfolio and managing relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have an MBA/Master's in Finance/real estate/related major and 3-5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years of experience as a credit analyst in the area of corporate lending and customer relationship management.
  • The candidate should have strong credit analysis, people skills and knowledge of accounting.
  • Strong credit analysis and people skills. Previous experience in China-US cross-border transactions /project finance /M&A/syndicated loans/ other types of structured finance is preferred.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
