What We're Looking For

Cross River is seeking an AVP, Commercialization, Fintech Banking to lead commercialization efforts across the Fintech Banking organization. The role combines commercial strategy, product commercialization, sales enablement, market intelligence, and go-to-market execution to ensure products, solutions, and strategic initiatives are effectively brought to market and positioned for revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Commercial Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Develop market segmentation, ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and vertical growth strategies.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify opportunities and inform business priorities.
  • Translate customer, industry, and competitive insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support strategic planning related to new markets, products, and growth initiatives.

Product Commercialization & Go-to-Market

  • Lead commercialization planning and launch readiness for new products, capabilities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Create scalable commercialization frameworks that support adoption and revenue growth.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure successful market execution.

Sales Enablement & Commercial Programs

  • Develop sales enablement materials, playbooks, discovery frameworks, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Create commercial narratives and industry-specific messaging to support strategic pursuits.
  • Partner with Marketing on content, campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Support adoption of tools, processes, and best practices that improve commercial effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align stakeholders around commercialization priorities, launch readiness, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead strategic projects requiring coordination across multiple teams and functions.
  • Support initiatives designed to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercialization, go-to-market strategy, product marketing, sales enablement, management consulting, business strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Proven ability to bring products, solutions, or strategic initiatives to market and support revenue growth.
  • Experience partnering across Product, Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, and senior business leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, payments, lending, embedded finance, or related financial services preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM, sales enablement, marketing, and analytics platforms.
