Great Hill is seeking a Blood Bank SME to support work with Armed Services Blood Program in Falls Church, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform testing related to blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
  • Report on blood product compatibility
  • Assess country supply chains including collection, processing and storage capabilities
  • Provide reports and briefings to senior leadership

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Hematology) OR minimum three additional years' experience as Clinical Laboratory Scientist
  • Minimum three years of experience in clinical laboratory scientist role working with DOD military or civilian customers
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with transfusion medicine
  • Expertise in blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to assess supply chains
