Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm 37-40 hours per week
A Day in Your Life at Peoples Bank:
As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work directly with Retail Branch Management to lead the branch's business growth through the delivery of exceptional customer service. You will ensure that the day-to-day operations of the branch are executed as approved by the Bank's policies, procedures, and service guidelines and clearly communicate discrepancies and concerns to Branch Manager. You will participate and provide input regarding human resource management for the branch.
Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include:
  • Contributing to the overall profitability and growth of the branch through successful leadership of the staff and management of operations.
  • Participating in the recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of the branch team.
  • Ensuring compliance in the branch with oversight from the Branch Manager.
  • Completing all monthly, quarterly, and annual branch certifications.
  • Ensuring high-quality service is consistently delivered by the branch team through leading and observing the team.
  • Attending community, bank sponsored, and other events.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Team:
  • You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • You are enthusiastic about providing a high level of customer service.
  • You have a minimum of five years' customer service experience.
  • You have a minimum of three years' banking experience as well as supervisory experience.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You are proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
  • You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
  • You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
  • You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
  • You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.
