Job description

At B-SIDE, we're passionate about making exceptional bread and pastries from scratch every day. We're looking for talented bakers who take pride in their craft, enjoy working as part of a team, and are excited to help produce beautiful food for our café, restaurants, and Saturday farmers market.

If you love early mornings, the smell of fresh bread, and working with people who care deeply about quality, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and bake artisan breads, bagels, pastries, cookies, desserts, and seasonal specialties.
  • Mix, shape, proof, and bake doughs using traditional and modern techniques.
  • Follow recipes while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
  • Assist with production for our restaurants and weekly farmers market.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations.
  • Help with inventory, ingredient preparation, and daily production planning.
  • Work closely with the Head Baker and culinary team to ensure every product meets B-SIDE's standards.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous bakery or professional kitchen experience preferred.
  • Passion for artisan baking and a desire to continually improve your skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning shifts.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support your teammates.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and pride in producing consistent, high-quality products.
The Ideal Candidate

You're someone who genuinely enjoys baking. You appreciate that great bread and pastries require patience, precision, and repetition. You enjoy learning, welcome feedback, and believe that a successful bakery is built on teamwork, organization, and respect. You take pride in the little things—from perfectly shaped loaves to beautifully laminated pastries —and understand that consistency matters just as much as creativity.

We believe great baking is about more than recipes—it's about creating something worth sharing every single day.
