Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for executing our daily baking menu, preparing ingredients for daily service, and maintaining a spotless, safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Baking & Food Production

  • Prepare and bake a variety of goods, including pastries, bread, muffins, and cookies according to recipes.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers.
  • Prepare ingredients for the daily café menu, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and slicing meats.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared, plated, and presented according to company standards for quality and consistency.
  • Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure products meet quality standards.

Food Safety & Sanitation (Top Priority)

  • Adhere strictly to all health department regulations and sanitation protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, cleaning tools and surfaces before and after use.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food products, adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
  • Monitor temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and cooked products to ensure food safety.Manage waste and spoilage

Operations & Teamwork

  • Collaborate with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service operations.
