Job description

Job Purpose

Implement and support the SAP solution at Rise Baking Company, providing expertise for all aspects of Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP) Modules in SAP. Work closely with the SAP support team, business process owners, and subject matter experts to define and standardize end-to-end business processes across the company.

Essential Functions

• Utilize SAP best practices to design, configure/develop, test, and deploy an integrated ERP solution with SAP ECC/S4 HANA at the core

• Deliver solution models and architectures in line with business requirements, organization, and industry standards across all manufacturing plants

• Work with project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and recommend options that provide fit-to-standard solutions

• Assess the impact of business change requests on the existing model and assist with prioritization

• Provide direction and guidance, adhering to design standards and target operating model

• Support the SAP team to determine high-level functional and technical requirements, maximizing the use of standard and out-of-the-box features and capabilities

• Work and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across the company to develop solutions that meet the needs of the business

• Develop and maintain documentation to support the SAP environment ensuring consistent and reliable procedures and change management processes

• Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s degree preferred

• 4-8 years of hands-on SAP APO/DP/SNP configuration and functional development design expertise

• Ability to work independently on integration aspects in ECC like MRP, planned order, purchase requisitions, process orders, and CIF monitoring

• 1-3 years of manufacturing industry experience; food manufacturing industry experience preferred

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, Raw Material Planning/Procurement, and SAP process design

• SAP APO, DP, SNP certification preferred

• Experience in one full life cycle implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) preferred

• Working knowledge on Materials Management and Production with MRP needed

• Experience with at least 2 full cycle implementations in SAP

• Experience working on large, enterprise-scale projects, with diverse project teams

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives

• Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to conduct design conversations with subject matter experts and train new users

• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
