Deli Bakery Clerk
Description
A Deli Bakery Clerk at Carlie C’s IGA realizes that providing prompt and friendly customer service is priority #1. Being courteous and cooperative with both customer and coworker is a critical aspect of maximizing sales and building business for years to come. As a Deli/Bakery Clerk, you'll handle everything from fried chicken to 9-layer cakes and everything in between. Preparing, serving, cooking and cleaning, it's all a part of the Carlie C's Bakery/Deli.
Duties
  • Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
  • Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
  • Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
  • Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
  • Understand portion control
  • Monitor food temperature requirements.
  • Operate oven, proof box.
  • Keep sales area full, and rotated.
  • Clean and sanitized area
  • Maintain Carlie C's Uniform Standards
  • Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing.
  • Neat and clean in appearance.
  • Must enjoy working with the public.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Experience a plus
