About the Role

We are seeking a Operator 2, Mixer to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Mixer, you will be accountable for preparing and mixing dough batches according to established recipes while maintaining product quality, food safety, and production efficiency to support continuous bakery operations.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 1st
  • Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $22.25

 

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Prepare and mix dough batches according to recipes, specifications, and production schedules
  • Monitor and control mixing times, temperatures, and ingredient sequencing to ensure quality standards are met
  • Support production flow by ensuring timely dough availability aligned with line capacity
  • Verify ingredient accuracy, lot numbers, weights, and proper handling procedures
  • Accurately document batch records and enter production data into SAP systems
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized mixing, ingredient, and storage areas
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, personal hygiene, and workplace safety requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and handle 50 lb. flour bags as required
  • Ability to accurately follow recipes, pick lists, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality
  • Ability to work safely in a fastpaced manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience in food manufacturing or bakery mixing operations
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar production systems
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a production team
