Job Summary

The Bread Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial bakery equipment used in the production of bread products. This role ensures efficient production, consistent product quality, and adherence to food safety and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor bread manufacturing machinery (mixers, dividers, molders, proofers, ovens, slicers, and packaging equipment).
  • Measure and load ingredients according to production formulas and recipes.
  • Adjust machine settings to control mixing time, temperature, speed, and baking conditions.
  • Inspect dough and finished bread products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine equipment checks.
  • Report major malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and production areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Record production data, downtime, and quality control checks.
  • Follow all workplace safety and hygiene policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in food production or bakery manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions
