Part-Time Bakery Assistant

Rocky Top Catering is a full-service catering company known for creating memorable food experiences across the Triangle. From large-scale events to intimate gatherings, our team is passionate about quality, creativity, and delivering exceptional service.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bakery Assistant to join our team. This role supports our pastry and bakery operations by assisting with production, preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys baking, works well in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in consistency and presentation.

Shifts will be 2-3 mornings a week Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation and production of baked goods, desserts, and pastries
  • Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients
  • Support chefs with decorating, finishing, and plating items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and bakery areas
  • Properly store ingredients and finished products
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with packing and labeling for events as needed

Qualifications:
