As a baker, you mix and bake a variety of breads or sweets, depending on your clientele or company needs, manage and store ingredients, and operate and maintain kitchen equipment (such as mixers and ovens). Some bakers develop new recipes for specialty treats; others bake mass-produced confections.

These skills and qualities ensure consistent product quality, efficient operations, and customer satisfaction in a demanding bakery environment.

What are some common challenges bakers face in maintaining product consistency, and how can these be addressed?

Bakers often face challenges in maintaining product consistency due to factors like ingredient variability, changes in temperature or humidity, and equipment differences.
