Position Summary We are seeking two experienced Backend Web Developers to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and services. The ideal candidates will have strong experience with Python, Java, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS cloud services, and containerized microservices architectures. These roles will support the development of secure, high-performance backend systems and APIs that enable enterprise web applications and data integrations. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and deploy server-side applications and microservices using Python and Java.
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integration services.
* Develop and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.
* Implement and support search capabilities using Elasticsearch.
* Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.
* Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and related container technologies.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
* Write and maintain automated unit tests using Pytest and JUnit.
* Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues.
* Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
* Support CI/CD processes utilizing GitLab pipelines and version control practices.
Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience developing backend applications using Python and Java.
* Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, development, and optimization.
* Experience implementing and supporting Elasticsearch solutions.
* Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
* Experience with container technologies and microservices architectures.
