DiGeronimo Companies is currently seeking a part-time front desk receptionist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk area. Monitor the visitor logbook
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person in the building
  • Answer phone calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
  • Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail/packages timely and accurately. Sign for deliveries and track all certified mail
  • Ensure confidential mail or materials are concealed and securely stored
  • Ensure certified mail is delivered to the appropriate person, timely
  • Prepare FedEx/UPS shipments and use mail machine for postage/mailings
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, storing and transcribing documents
  • Approve conference room availability
  • Coordinate projects and events as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Experience using office equipment (i.e. phones, computers, printers, fax machines)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Notary certified preferred
