ITE Management, a leading investment manager specializing in the transportation sector, is looking for an Investment Associate to join its dynamic and rapidly growing Aviation team in New York. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $12bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in New York City (HQ), Chicago, St. Louis and London.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of a dynamic deal team, with immediate exposure to senior leadership and meaningful responsibility from day one. This role offers significant breadth across aviation investment strategies, giving the individual a truly holistic perspective on the aviation investment landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead credit underwriting on airline and aviation counterparty exposures, including analysis of financial statements, fleet data, cash flow profiles, and operating metrics
  • Construct and interrogate detailed financial models for prospective and portfolio investments, including integrated three-statement analysis, to inform credit views and investment recommendations
  • Prepare detailed credit memos and present recommendations through the investment approval process
  • Support loan pricing, structuring, and underwriting analysis across aviation investment transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and review of term sheets, credit approvals, and Investment Committee materials
  • Coordinate legal and transaction documentation from approval through closing, working alongside internal and external counsel
  • Source and evaluate new aviation investment opportunities across specialty asset classes and adjacent sectors, and proactively build industry relationships to expand ITE's network and deal flow
  • Conduct market research and thematic analysis to identify emerging opportunities and sector trends
  • Monitor portfolio credits and maintain current views on key counterparties and industry developments

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in aviation finance, credit analysis, structured lending, or investment banking
  • Strong credit analysis skills with experience reviewing complex financial statements and capital structures
  • Familiarity with aviation asset classes including commercial aircraft, engines, or related sectors
  • Experience supporting transaction execution and legal documentation processes
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with rigorous attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • FINRA licensed (SIE, Series 7, and Series 63) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or CPA a plus

Willingness to travel as required to support business needs.
Salary Range:
Estimated base salary range: $120,000 to $175,000. Employees will also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
