CAE, a worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor with handson experience on Dassault business aircraft platforms.

In this role, you will train the next generation of aircraft maintenance technicians through highquality instruction in both classroom and handson environments.

As part of CAE's mission to recreate the most realistic training environments for aircraft technicians, you will use your technical expertise to instruct, assess, and support learners throughout their training. CAE provides a comprehensive training program to help experienced maintenance professionals transition into worldclass instructors and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver theoretical and practical aircraft maintenance training in classroom, aircraft, and simulator environments.
  • Conduct examinations, practical assessments, and evaluations in accordance with applicable regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date training records.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of instructor guides, customer training materials, and new course content.
  • Prepare and maintain training environments, equipment, and instructional resources prior to training sessions.
  • Stay current on aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and industry developments by completing required instructor update training.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to training programs, materials, and learner outcomes.
  • Perform training-related duties that may require physical activity. Reasonable accommodations will be provided where required by law.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P), Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), EASA, or equivalent maintenance certification/licensure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse, global team environment.
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 30% of the time.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications, learning technologies, and internet-based tools.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience supporting Dassault aircraft or similar business aviation platforms.
  • Experience supporting commercial aircraft platforms such as Boeing 737, 777, 777X, 787 or Airbus A220, A320neo, A330neo, or A350.
  • Previous aviation training, instructional, coaching, or teaching experience.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with a commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience.
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet different learning styles and experience levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Professional presence and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
