Aviation Maintenance Technician - Entry Level

Allflight Corporation is seeking an entry level Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be assisting lead technicians with prepping, inspecting, testing, and repairing aircraft components and equipment, in accordance with FAA/EASA rules and regulations.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance in performing teardowns, repairs, overhauls, and functional testing of various repair station products and items
  • Effectively communicates details of repair work to customers as needed
  • Ensures that all repair work is performed according to procedures and per correct document revision
  • Develops and implements product improvement initiatives and ensures that the appropriate training is obtained to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes required to carry out the job function effectively
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required
  • May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge and skills in aviation products repair or manufacturing
  • Should possess strong technical background and confidence in their abilities
  • Must be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and specifications to competently perform their duties
  • Must be able to work alone, without direction, and with minimal supervision
  • Able to use basic hand tools and precision measurement equipment such as micrometers and calipers
  • Effective English oral and written communication
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant technical experience or schooling desired
