Job Title: Litigation (Aviation) Associate
Location: New York, NY
Job Description:
A prestigious New York law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation Department, specifically within the Aviation Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a passion for the aerospace, aviation, and insurance industries. Ideal candidates will have two to three years of litigation experience and demonstrate a strong foundation in drafting, research, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests.
  • Draft and argue motions effectively.
  • Take and defend depositions with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and write compelling arguments.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team specializing in aviation-related cases.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
  • Strong research and writing abilities, with a solid academic record.
  • Prior experience in aviation law or complex products liability is a plus, though not required.
  • Interest in the aerospace, aviation, and insurance sectors.
