** Per Diem ** Seeking Neonatologists to Join our Miami Valley Hospital Team in Dayton, OH - Apply Today!


We are seeking per diem Neonatologists to join our team at Miami Valley Hospital, the region’s well-established Level-IIIB neonatal intensive care unit. The highly respected community-based practice consists of 6 Neonatologists and 8 NNPs. Miami Valley Hospital is the only facility in Dayton offering ECMO since 1986. As part of the Southwest Ohio practice, Miami Valley collaborates with Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to start with an established and cohesive group.  Miami Valley Hospital serves a pediatric population of 1.4 million encompassing a 17 county referral area for perinatal cases.    

  • Coverage of a 60-bed Level-IIIB NICU
  • Average daily census is 42 patients
  • There are 4,000 deliveries annually and 950 NICU admissions annually
  • Readily available subspecialty support
  • Flexible schedule provides work/life balance
  • Call from home or in-house call room available to allow for either local or remote living opportunities
  • Affiliated with Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine with residents and medical students

  • Board Certified Neonatologist
  • A minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience required
  • OH Active License or Ability to Apply
  • Ongoing Per Diem availability, preferred

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
