Job description

We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to support maintenance operations on King Air and Cessna aircraft at a well-established corporate and general aviation service facility in Smyrna, TN. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on experience, thrives in a structured maintenance environment, and can work both independently and within a team to deliver high-quality, on-time aircraft support. Turboprop experience is strongly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on King Air and Cessna aircraft Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system discrepancies; complete accurate corrective actions Conduct inspections, component replacements, rigging, adjustments, and system checks Follow AMMs, IPCs, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, and technical data for all tasks Perform turbine engine maintenance (PT6 experience highly valuable) Complete all required maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA and company standards Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies Communicate effectively with leads, inspectors, and fellow mechanics to meet project timelines
Requirements
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License (A&P) - Required 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (general aviation or corporate aviation preferred) Hands-on experience with King Air and/or Cessna platforms Strong ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and engineering data Must supply personal hand tools suitable for GA/turboprop aircraft Ability to work overtime, weekends, and variable shifts when needed Must pass all standard pre-employment screenings
