Job description

Your Role

Gensler is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to help evolve how we build high-performing teams across the South Central region and firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of talent acquisition (TA), strategy, and operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about recruiting and creating a recruiting function that is highly effective and people centric.

As a TA Lead, you will focus on sourcing and hiring the best architecture and design talent for the region. You'll also assist with the design optimization and implementation of our end-to-end recruitment process. You will help drive the transformation of Talent Acquisition into a high impact, data-driven function that strategically enables the firm's growth. You will partner closely with Human Resources (HR) and business leaders to bring structure, clarity, and accountability to the hiring process. You will create positive experiences for candidates, leaders, and hiring managers.

This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape how talent is identified, engaged, and brought into the firm - directly impacting team quality and business growth. This position will work collaboratively with the region's TA and HR teams as well as regional leadership and will report to the Regional HR Director. This position is fully in-office.

What You Will Do

  • Hire the most talented architectural, design, and business operations team members for the world's largest architecture and design firm.
  • Deliver hiring results that align with the firm's growth priorities and talent strategy.
  • Design and implement standardized end-to-end recruiting workflows and processes (intake through offer) to drive successful and effective hiring outcomes and growth.
  • Establish and execute clear expectations, timelines, and accountability across all stages of hiring.
  • Define and implement service level agreements (SLAs) with hiring managers and leadership.
  • Drive consistency and accountability across recruiting teams and business stakeholders.
  • Successfully manage change initiatives within Talent Acquisition by introducing streamlined workflows and influencing stakeholders to adopt new processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and optimize processes to improve speed, quality, and experience.
  • Develop frameworks to prioritize requisitions based on business needs and impact.
  • Align recruiting capacity with hiring demand in partnership with HR and business leadership.
  • Build visibility into pipeline health, requisition aging, and hiring velocity.
  • Leverage recruiting tools (e.g., Avature, Tableau, SharePoint, Workday) to drive data-informed decisions.

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong understanding of Talent Operations and Talent Strategy.
  • Experienced, results-driven recruiter focused on creative sourcing strategies that produce best-in-class talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence candidates and stakeholders at all levels through clear, concise, and professional interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable processes and frameworks.
  • Experience successfully managing stakeholder adoption and accountability through periods of organizational change.
  • Experience working with recruiting systems and data tools (Avature, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous growth mindset.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills that drive efficiencies and consistently achieve critical recruiting KPI's.
  • Proactive ownership of responsibilities with the ability to identify and address future needs of the organization.
