Job description

We are seeking an experienced Events and Venues AV Design Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on designing and delivering cutting-edge AV solutions for high-profile projects including stadia, broadcast facilities, performing arts centers, museums, and casinos. Job Responsibilities:
  • Design AV systems for large-scale projects including stadia, broadcast facilities, performing arts centers, museums, casinos, and auditoriums
  • Develop detailed project documentation including Scope of Work, Contracts and Terms and Conditions, Programming and Functionality Scope, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and prepare quotes for projects
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Vectorworks, EASE, BIM/Revit, and Bluebeam for design, markup, and takeoffs
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Perform site visits, walkthroughs, onsite commissioning, client training, and project handover as required
  • Ensure compliance with project phases from bid work through completion, maintaining quality and accuracy at each stage
  • Apply thorough knowledge of Audio, Video, Lighting, Control, Networking, Rigging, and Electrical systems in all design work
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in AV system design for large-scale projects such as stadia, broadcast facilities, performing arts centers, museums, casinos, and auditoriums
  • CTS-D and/or CTS-I certifications highly preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, EASE, BIM/Revit, and Bluebeam for PDF markup and takeoffs
  • Thorough understanding of Audio, Video, Lighting, Control, Networking, Rigging, and Electrical systems as they relate to AV design
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all project phases from bid work through completion, including documentation and lifecycle management
  • Ability to produce detailed technical writing including Scope of Work, Contracts and Terms and Conditions, Programming and Functionality Scope, and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work autonomously and confidently with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to create Bills of Materials (BOM) and quotes
  • Willingness to perform site visits, walkthroughs, onsite commissioning, client training, and project handover as required
Job Compensation and Details:
  • Pay- $85k-120k Annual Salary with potential bonus at year end
  • Shift Time and Days- Day shift, M-F
