Job description

Leo CDJR] is hiring a Service Advisor. You're the bridge between the customer and the technician. When someone brings their vehicle in for service, you're the person who listens to what's going on, translates it into a work order, keeps the customer informed throughout the process, and makes sure they leave confident in the work that was done.

This role is part customer service, part sales, and part project management. You'll write repair orders, present recommended services, follow up on approvals, and coordinate with the shop to keep vehicles moving through on time. The advisors who do well here build a book of customers who come back specifically because they trust them.

We'll teach you the technical side. What we can't teach is the ability to make someone feel heard and taken care of. If you're naturally good with people and you want a career that pays based on how good you are at it, this is worth a look.

What You'll Do

- Greet service customers, listen to their concerns, and document symptoms accurately

- Write repair orders and communicate vehicle needs to the technician team

- Present repair recommendations and maintenance services to customers honestly

- Provide accurate estimates and keep customers updated on timing and cost

- Follow up on declined services and maintain ongoing customer relationships

- Coordinate workflow with technicians, parts, and the service manager to meet deadlines

- Handle customer questions, concerns, and follow-ups by phone, text, and in person

- Meet individual sales and CSI targets

What We're Looking For

- Strong communicator who can explain technical work in plain language

- Comfortable having money conversations - you'll be presenting repair costs daily

- Organized enough to juggle 15-20 open repair orders at a time without dropping one

- Customer-focused - you build trust by being honest, not by overselling

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift throughout the day

- Valid driver's license

What You Don't Need

- Automotive service advisor experience (we train)

- ASE certifications

- A technical background

If you've worked in hospitality, retail management, insurance, or any role where you managed customer expectations while coordinating behind the scenes - you already have the core skills.

What We Offer

- Competitive pay (base + commission on service sales)

- Health, dental, and vision insurance

- 401(k)

- Paid time off

- Ongoing manufacturer training

- Employee vehicle purchase program

- A career path into service management
