What You’ll Do:
- Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, availability, and workload
- Monitor shop productivity and adjust dispatching to maintain efficient workflow
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding job status, delays, and technician availability
- Track repair order progress and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with Parts Department to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation and support service leadership as needed
What You Bring:
- Automotive Service Dispatcher, Service Manager, Service Advisor or Technician experience is requiredÂ
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds, etc.) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
