Automotive Receptionist Primary Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet customers as they enter the dealership and accompany them to the appropriate department for a warm handoff.
  • Answers phone calls professionally, directing customers to the correct department in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that the customers are connected promptly and not left on hold for extended periods.
  • Listen empathetically to customer concerns and direct them to the appropriate department manager.
  • Build rapport with team members in other departments to facilitate smooth communication and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions i.e. receipts, purchase transactions, messages to be relayed.
  • Scan documents for electronic storage and maintain organized records.
  • Refresh waiting areas, attend coffee bar, and restock and refresh items as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Automotive Receptionist Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with cashier duties as needed, including processing payments, applying discounts, and balancing transactions at the end of the day.
  • Support inventory management by stocking cars in the internal computer system, creating tags, assembling packets, and processing dealer trade paperwork.
Automotive Receptionist Requirements
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule of Monday-Thursday 12p-9p and Saturday 9a-6p.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Proficiency with computers, calculators, copiers, scanners, and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and escort clients to various departments.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
