Corportate Fixed Operations Trainer Job Description:
The Huffines Fixed Operations Trainer is a product and process knowledge expert and is responsible for supporting, training, and developing the fixed operation service teams at all dealership locations.
Corportate Fixed Operations Trainer Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with all levels of management, service advisors, express technicians, and main line technicians to provide training, emphasize exceptional customer service, and promoting process improvement
  • Conduct periodic process audits and create action plans
  • Train to Huffines’ standards for customer experience, customer retention and the general effectiveness of our Fixed Operations team members
  • Train Service Advisors on multi-point inspection review, effective sales presentations, and closing service sales
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all Express operations
  • Increase CSI scores through training, follow up, and monitoring
  • Perform individual training on the drive and in a classroom environment
  • Develop executive-level analysis reporting on training ROI and proficiency
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
  • Assist with and execute other operational activities as assigned by manager such as project work and training
Corportate Fixed Operations Trainer Requirements:
  • 2+ years training facilitation experience (classroom, small group, and individual)
  • A minimum of 5 years new car dealership fixed ops experience with a minimum of 3 years previous automotive service advisor experience
  • Previous experience as a consultant with a National/Regional based consulting company (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across all automotive disciplines
  • Skilled proficiency and experience with Reynolds amp; Reynolds, Dealertrack, and X-Time
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities
  • Ability to identity opportunities for growth and improvement, while creating value and buy-in from Fixed Ops team members including Service professionals
  • Understanding of federal, state and local regulations
  • A valid driver’s license
