What You’ll Do as an Automation Business Consultant

In this role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor, driving growth through consultative engagement and market leadership.

You’ll:

  • Build and influence executive-level relationships to drive long-term business partnerships
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that expand solution adoption and market share
  • Identify and advance high-value opportunities through strategic account development and joint sales efforts
  • Align cross-functional teams to deliver targeted business outcomes for customers
  • Analyze market trends, customer drivers, and competitive landscapes to guide decision-making
  • Lead customer engagements, solution discussions, and application demonstrations
  • Strengthen and expand vendor and partner ecosystems to enhance solution delivery
  • Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline activity and ensure visibility across the organization
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and sales growth
  • Represent Kirby Risk with professionalism, building trust and credibility in every interaction

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 5+ years of consultative sales or business development experience
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including executives
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Advanced computer proficiency; Microsoft Office preferred
  • Forward-thinking, strategic mindset with strong negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Self-directed, collaborative work style with a passion for results
