SUMMARY

Responsibilities include performing a wide variety of tasks associated with all automation equipment. Apprentices will follow the Amcor Princeton apprenticeship guidelines which include successfully completing two classes per semester (Spring and Fall semesters) with classes to be scheduled during non-working hours as much as possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following (others may be assigned):

Capable of troubleshooting all process-related issues and performing all preventative maintenance on Automation equipment.

Determines root cause for concerns and can make all adjustments and replacements to correct issues.

Maintains preventive maintenance program and ensures that these are performed as scheduled.

Reviews and analyzes daily production performance to ensure that the department is meeting efficiency goals.

Works with molding associates to accomplish activities in an efficient and safe manner by providing assistance with daily processing issues.

Works with engineering, maintenance, and tool shop to ensure adequate parts are maintained and make recommendations regarding the purchase of necessary tooling and auxiliary equipment.

Complies with OSHA Safety and Health Rules; maintain safe working environment for all Associates.

Follows and enforces applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices.

Other duties as assigned.
