Title: Autoclave Support
Pay Rate: $18.50 + $1.50 shift differential: $20 per hour *PLEASE ADVISE CANDIDIATE IF SHIFT EVER CHANGES TO 1ST SHIFT, THEY LOSE THE $1.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL*
Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (OT as needed)
*They do go in and out of a clean room to get plastic tubing* So they must be okay wearing a bunny suit to do that.
IT IS ENTRY-LEVEL AND THEY WILL CONSIDER CANDIATES THAT HAVE BEEN DISHWASHERS* The autoclave machine cleans parts
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED Certificate required
• Minimum of 0-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and cGMP.
Maintains adequate number of supplies are on hand to ensure equipment and materials are ready to perform their function and duties. Works closely with Production Manufacturing to ensure all sterilized components are protected, moved and returned to the proper location. Package products. Cut plastic tubing with scissors, package product.
Ability to work OT when needed.
Job Functions:
• Performs cleaning, washing, sterilization and restocking of all equipment used by all departments to ensure items are readily available. Cuts, packages, and sterilizes shield paper and aluminum foil pieces for Production Manufacturing team.
• Maintains prescribed targets of sterilized components required by the Production Manufacturing department. Works closely with Production Manufacturing Supervisor and Manager to ensure the required components are scheduled and processed timely to be sterilized to meet prescribed targets. Maintains inventory control and organizes materials by lot numbers to ensure date is accurate. Participates in the annual physical inventory at end of year or cycle counts as required.
• Sterilizes various Growth Medias, Plate Medias, Bio-Waste, and any other solutions requiring sterilization by each department. Maintains line of communication among all groups to ensure each solution is correctly processed and properly delivered to the intended location as required by responsible department or group.
• Performs End of Day flush, sanitization, staging and dismantling of pump systems to assist Engineering department. Assists Production Manufacturing department to prepare and process honey dippers for pre-soaking, rinsing and sterilization plus checking and signing checklist.
• Collects purified ware for final rinsing process and provides Production Manufacturing, Engineering Department, Solutions Team, and R&D Team with purified water as needed. Works closely with members of the Reagent Production Testing Group to ensure the purified water system is producing quality water as required and the various sterilizer units are working properly and achieving sterilization levels by running biological samples in the sterilizer to demonstrate effectiveness.
• Maintains a clean and organized Autoclave area and Autoclave equipment. Performs daily drain and flush on each autoclave as required, record each sterilized cycle per Autoclave logbook, maintain current daily log for lab area, report any issue immediately to Supervisor/Manager. Cleaning includes major floor cleaning, particularly in APT rooms.
