Job description

Summary:
This role is responsible for creating electrical schematics for standard and custom control panels, generating accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and buy-out list for procurement. The position is ideal for an early-career electrical designer looking to build hands-on experience in industrial controls within a structured engineering environment.
Position Responsibilities:
· Create electrical schematics for standard and lightly customized control panels based on established designs and engineering standards using AutoCAD Electrical.
· Generate and maintain accurate BOMs based on schematic designs.
· Ensure electrical BOMs are submitted in the ERP System.
· Generate buy-out lists on purchase requests for electrical components prior to manufacturing.
· Works with sales, engineering, purchasing, and production teams to support accurate documentation and timely execution.
· All designs and BOMs are completed under the guidance and review of the Controls Manager or Senior Designers.
Required Skills amp; Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Working knowledge of common electrical components and industrial control systems.
· Experience working with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
