Position Overview

The Logistics Quote Specialist supports transportation quoting and order registration activities by reviewing requests, gathering information, preparing pricing, and coordinating service details with agents, customers, and internal teams.

This role works across a variety of transportation services, including truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), auto transportation, and other logistics solutions. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys solving problems, and can successfully manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role comes from strong communication, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do
  • Review and respond to transportation quote requests.

  • Gather and verify information needed to prepare accurate quotes and registrations.

  • Prepare pricing using established guidelines, tariffs, and service requirements.

  • Work with agents, customers, and internal teams to clarify transportation needs and identify service solutions.

  • Coordinate quote updates, revisions, and order registration activities.

  • Communicate with transportation providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding service requirements and order details.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.

  • Assist with training and support related to quote entry, order registration, and system processes.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.

  • Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer service, operations, logistics, transportation, account coordination, quoting, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work through changing information and competing priorities.
