Auto Parts Runner - Summary

Assists the parts and service department personnel by performing the following duties.

Auto Parts Runners - Essential Duties

  • Delivers parts to technicians
  • Receive parts orders and locate stock
  • Ensures that areas of the parts department are clean and properly stocked..
  • Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed.
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.
  • Return all cores and Warranty parts back to the manufacturer
  • Count inventory to insure accuracy
  • Receive and locate Tires Daily.
  • lifting boxes of up to 50 LBS
  • carrying parts up and down stairs to delivery to technicians
  • Other tasks as assigned.
