Job description

Automotive Detail Technician

Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Detail Technician, where your passion for vehicle care and customer service will shine! Your expertise will help vehicles look their absolute best, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle cleanliness are always achieved. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive exterior washing and vehicle paint correction to restore vehicles' shine and appearance
  • Use automotive buffers and cleaning equipment safely and effectively to buff, polish, and detail vehicles' exteriors and interiors
  • Conduct interior detailing including vacuuming, cleaning carpets, upholstery, windows, and dashboard surfaces to ensure a spotless finish
  • Follow safe work practices consistently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
  • Maintain adequate supplies of clean and dry towels
  • Ensure supplies are laundered as necessary
  • Wash lot vehicles with wash truck when assigned by Detail Manager

Requirements

  • Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility work is highly preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing methods and cleaning equipment operation preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Experience with janitorial or custodial tasks is a plus, demonstrating attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate standard passenger cars confidently
  • Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly in various outdoor conditions
  • Work on lot when necessary for snow removal, keeping walkways, and entryways shoveled
  • Maintain trash pickup and removal from lot and property area
  • Operate all equipment and handle chemicals in a safe manner, making sure all chemical bottles are marked appropriately.
