Are you ready to take your passion for the auto industry to the next level? Vehicle Fleet Services, the remarketing, fleet, and wholesale division of Drive Holding Corporation is seeking an energetic and motivated Vehicle Buyer - Auto Acquisition Specialist to join our team full-time. This position requires our agents to search for active dealership/fleet owned vehicles that need to be sold at wholesale marketplaces. Additionally, you will be seeking after private party vehicle purchase opportunities in your assigned area. Read on to learn more!
As a Vehicle Buyer you are the first point of contact for customers interested in selling their vehicle. You will manage a constant stream of daily lead opportunities. Prompt communication and follow up with these leads is vital. A large portion of your day will be spent responding to these leads via phone, email, and text.
This inventory acquisition and remarketing position is commission-based. You will be paid a designated flat rate per vehicle that is remarketed through wholesale channels, in addition to receiving compensation for private party and non-traditional auction-sourced vehicles.
We give our buyers the tools, support, and freedom to maximize their earnings potential. With a performance-based pay structure and unlimited opportunities to source new inventory, your earnings potential is unlimited- $7,000 to $10,000+ per month is the expectation for steady performance, with top performers surpassing $10k regularly!
WHAT DOES A VEHICLE BUYER - AUTO ACQUISITION SPECIALIST DO?
As a Vehicle Buyer - Auto Acquisition Specialist for Vehicle Fleet Services, you are an invaluable member of our team. Each day, you work to build a book of business by adding valuable B2B clients to our roster. You will be required to source and achieve target goals related to private party vehicle acquisition metrics. You also work closely with auction personnel and upper level management to strengthen relationships and ensure successful transactions for our clients.
In addition, you provide wholesale liquidation consulting to clients. With access to all national auction databases and appraisal systems, you help our clients maximize their returns on vehicles that are no longer needed. As a people person and someone who is passionate about the auto industry, you enjoy building relationships with our clients and enjoy the fast pace of the auction and online trading platform atmospheres!
YOUR HOURS AS A VEHICLE BUYER - AUTO ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
In this auto sales position, you work flexible full-time hours, depending on the season and workload. No weekend work will be needed!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be successful in this auto sales role, you'll need strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills. We're also looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced auction environment. You'll also need to have great interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a variety of personality types. To be considered for this role you must meet these preferred qualifications:
• 1 year Wholesale / Auto industry auction experience is required
• 1 year BDC/Call Center experience is a plus
• Knowledge of wholesaling, appraisal experience, auctions required
• Auto industry buyer experience would be a plus
