Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey
Responsibilities:
  • Develops lesson plans and prepares for the daily instruction program
  • Evaluates student progress and provides progress reports as required
  • Strives to maintain professional competence
  • Identifies pupil needs in cooperation with other professional staff members and assists in assessing and helping pupils with school related problem
  • Enforces school rules, administrative regulations and board policy
  • Maintains communication with parents, administrators and other professional staff members in order to best serve the interest of students
  • Maintains a safe and orderly work area
  • Performs other duties within the scope of employment and certification as assigned by the principal and/or his/her designee

Qualifications:
  • Endorsement #2470 Teacher of the Handicap or Endorsement #2475 Teacher of Students with Disabilities w/ Endorsement # 1001 or 1000 New Jersey State Certification REQUIRED
  • MUST pass NJ Criminal History Review Unit fingerprinting requirement
  • New Jersey State residency requirements for public employees in effect
