Job description

We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism

Implement behavioral plans developed by a BCBA/LBA

Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress

Maintain detailed session notes and records

Collaborate with the therapy team (BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians)

Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs

Communicate clearly and effectively with families and supervisors

Job Requirements

Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field

Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws

Part-time: 15–30 hours per week

Must be available after school hours and/or weekends

Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM
