Oliver Audiology & Hearing Aid Services, a privately-owned Audiology practice in Old Town San Diego is seeking an Audiology Tech/Assistant to join our team. We have been helping patients in our community since 1996 and we are professional, supportive, customer-centric and our goal is to provide the standard of care for patients with hearing needs.
We are seeking an assistant to work under the supervision of the Audiologist who is passionate about helping people and interested in developing a career in the field of Audiology.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:
  • Answer patients' questions regarding scheduling and insurance payments.
  • Maintain patient files and perform clerical duties and other administrative support functions.
  • Interact directly with the patient in one-on-one counseling.
  • Counsel patients on technology applications including phone use.
  • Clean, maintain, & repair hearing devices.
  • Maintain and utilize equipment.
  • Assist in the front office as needed including phones and scheduling
  • Work directly with providers on patient care and follow up/training.
  • Send follow up physician correspondence on behalf of providers.
  • Tracking inventory, ordering hearing aids and supplies.
  • Manage hearing aid orders, factory repairs, manufacturer returns and maintain clinic inventory.
To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with teammates, patients, or customers.
  • Clear speaking voice.
  • An ability to communicate verbally & in writing.
  • Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software.
  • High School Diploma.
