It is commonly used in enterprise and service provider environments to connect and protect VoIP (Voice over IP) networks, enabling secure and reliable communication between different service providers or between an organization’s internal and external networks. AudioCodes SBCs provide functions such as signaling and media encryption, interoperability between different protocols, protection against cyber threats, and quality of service (QoS) management. Their role is critical in ensuring seamless, secure, and high-quality voice and video communications.
