We're looking for a part-time, bilingual contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) who is passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role is perfect for those seeking the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while enjoying the flexibility and rewards of private practice-without the hassle of administrative work. We are currently hiring licensed providers in all states within the United States except FL, MA, MI, TX, VT. Providers licensed in NC will be required to provide at least 10 hours of availability during evenings or weekends. No minimum hour requirement applies to providers in all other states.

What you'll do:

  • Treat clients remotely in your state(s) of licensure on the secure (HIPAA compliant) Talkspace platform
  • Conduct client sessions using video, audio, and live messaging services
  • Respond to asynchronous client messages each week, in a timely manner
  • Complete your required clinical documentation after each client session
  • Provide therapy services in English and one or more additional languages

About you

  • Current license to practice independently without supervision in your state(s) of licensure
    • Note: Associate licensed providers who require supervision are not eligible for this role
  • Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy

Compensation

  • Compensation for sessions is determined by the state in which your client resides. Rates for shorter live sessions (30- and 45-minute) are prorated.
    • CA: $90 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (this rate is prorated for 45 and 30 minute sessions)
    • DC, MA, MD, NY, VA, WA: $78 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (this rate is prorated for 45 and 30 minute sessions)
    • All other states: $70 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (this rate is prorated for 45 and 30 minute sessions)
  • Additional compensation for asynchronous messaging
  • Earn a new client engagement bonus, varying by plan type

Please note: If you treat clients in multiple states, different rates will apply accordingly. Rates could be subject to change and may vary over time based on the market and shifts in demand.
