About the Role

This is a hybrid role based in New York City or Washington, DC. Team members are expected to work in their local office three days per week.

LexisNexis' Legal News division (Law360/Law360 Pulse/MLex) is looking for a dedicated audience engagement manager who can help deepen and grow subscriber engagement with our journalism.

The person will be part of a new audience team, working with Law360, Law360 Pulse and MLex media brands. You will be a key partner for editorial teams and work closely with marketing and product teams.

This is a newly created position with the opportunity to make a significant impact as we build this team from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze article and newsletter performance across platforms to understand what resonates with readers.

  • Translate complex data into concise insights that support editorial decision-making.

  • Help shape editorial strategies to maximize audience impact

  • Track audience behavior by product, region, channel, and topic to uncover growth opportunities.

  • Identify high-performing formats, topics, and tones, and share insights.

  • Write clear, jargon-free performance reports that explain why certain content succeeds.

  • Design, run, and interpret A/B headline tests.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and editorial teams on content promotion strategies.

  • Help build trust and understanding of engagement metrics across the newsroom.

Requirements

  • Be a curious, analytical person who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in audience development, digital marketing, or content analytics.

  • Experience in a newsroom, media, or editorial analytics environment highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Parse.ly, Chartbeat.

  • Ability to identify patterns in data and communicate insights in plain, accessible language.

  • Experience with A/B testing and interpreting results preferred.

  • Awareness of legal-industry audience preferences and sensitivities.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and excellent written communication.

  • Solid collaboration skills.
