Atrium Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rehabilitation Center located in sunny Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will work onsite in our Rehabilitation Center, which is fully equipped to support a variety of rehabilitation needs. The working schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with some variable weekends. We promote a culture that emphasizes continuous learning and professional development, encouraging our therapists to engage in self-study and attend workshops for ongoing education.

As a Physical Therapist at Atrium, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient’s functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing, implementing, and supervising personalized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Providing ongoing assessment of patient progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care and educate them on physical therapy processes.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives and programs aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of physical therapy.
• Supervising and training assigned support staff, such as physical therapy aides and students, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Engaging in staff meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Maintaining professional licensure and participating in continuing education programs to remain current in the field.

You will primarily be working with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

While not mandatory, candidates with at least 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation or clinical setting will be preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and experience with various patient populations will be beneficial in providing comprehensive care.

Atrium Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
