Atrium Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated, full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Rehabilitation Facility in Immokalee, Florida. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our Rehabilitation Facility, which is strategically located in Immokalee, a vibrant community in southwest Florida. The position entails a 40-hour work week with variable weekend shifts, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent patient care. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the well-being of our patients and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional abilities and limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions in accordance with prescribed treatment plans and modify approaches based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
  • Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes properly, maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patients’ progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Supervise and guide support staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient resource management within the department.
  • Lead community outreach programs aimed at educating the public on physical health and wellness, promoting Atrium’s services effectively.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and general rehabilitation needs. Your ability to connect with patients of varying ages and cultural backgrounds will be essential to delivering effective therapy and improving their overall health and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
