Atrium Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our expert team at our rehabilitation center located in Keansburg, New Jersey. Your role will be based onsite at our busy rehabilitation center, where you will interact directly with patients and colleagues. You can expect a schedule of 40 hours per week, including variable weekends, to best accommodate the needs of our patients. The environment is dynamic and supportive, allowing for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams focused on improving patient outcomes.

As a Physical Therapist at Atrium, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients' functional limitations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Consulting with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the continuum.
• Conducting thorough evaluations and interpreting medical findings to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment goals, expectations, and at-home exercises.
• Documenting all therapy services, ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines, state regulations, and professional standards.
• Actively collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Participating in departmental leadership functions, community outreach initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Supervising support staff and assisting in their professional development.

Our rehabilitation center serves a wide array of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients’ lives, using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to meet their specific needs.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to maintain compliance as needed.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills for documentation and correspondence.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional specialization in orthopedic rehabilitation or experience with diverse patient populations are particularly encouraged to apply. Background in community outreach or supervisory roles will also be viewed favorably.
