What are some common challenges ATP Instructors face when transitioning from commercial flying to a teaching role?

Many ATP Instructors find that teaching requires a shift in mindset from active flying to focusing on student development and safety. Common challenges include adapting complex flying concepts into easily digestible lessons, managing diverse student learning styles, and maintaining patience during repetitive training flights. However, these challenges are balanced by the rewarding experience of mentoring new pilots and contributing to aviation safety.
