What You'll Do
As a Continuing Education Instructor, you'll create engaging learning experiences that support student success while meeting the evolving educational needs of our community.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning, developing, and delivering organized learning opportunities aligned with approved course outlines.
  • Providing instruction in a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  • Creating and maintaining curriculum materials, instructional resources, and learning activities.
  • Encouraging student participation, engagement, and skill development.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining appropriate classroom records.
  • Collaborating with instructional staff and administration to support program quality and continuous improvement.
  • Communicating effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintaining professional relationships and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Ensuring the safe use of instructional facilities, equipment, and materials.
  • Managing classroom inventory and instructional resources as needed.
  • Supporting program growth through innovative ideas and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
