Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking an Atlassian Admin to maintain and improve their Atlassian suite of tools. The role involves configuring and customizing tools like Jira and Confluence to ensure efficient functionality and support project management efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, configure, and customize the Atlassian tools, including Jira, JSM, Confluence, Opsgenie and related plugins, to align with organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and scope project requirements.
• Design and implement custom workflows, fields, screens, and automation to optimize processes and support business needs.
• Build a playbook to demonstrate the capabilities of Atlassian/Jira to the business users.
• Build and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standard methodologies for the Atlassian tools and related processes.
• Maintain Atlassian environment to best practice standards around security groups, permissions, schema configurations, and backups.
• Create dashboards based on business requirements, troubleshoot Atlassian related issues, and generate reports to provide tool usage and performance insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1-3+ years of experience as an Atlassian Administrator or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in configuring and customizing.
• Proven understanding of IT service management concepts and standard processes.
• Time management skills to balance ongoing administrative tasks with project-based work.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in scrum or agile teams.
Preferred:
• Experience with Atlassian tool integration and plugin development is a plus.
