ITTConnect is seeking a WebMethods Platform Administrator to work on site for a client in the Columbus, OH area. This is a contract position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the Utilities sector.
Job location: Columbus, OH (on site work)
Role Summary:
The webMethods Platform Administrator is responsible for the stability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise webMethods platform. The role supports Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Command Central, and associated middleware components while ensuring a reliable and secure integration environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer webMethods Integration Server environments.
  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade platformcomponents.
  • Manage Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, MywebMethods Server, and Command Central.
  • Perform platform capacity planning and healthmonitoring.
  • Configure SSL/TLS certificates and security controls.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, andhigh-availability strategies.
  • Support CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root causeanalysis.
  • Manage environment lifecycle activities across Dev,Test, UAT, and Production.
  • Create operational standards, documentation, andrunbooks.
  • Collaborate with development teams on onboarding andplatform best practices.
